Its story is deeply connected to one remarkable man: Gurcharan Singh, the visionary who brought Indian studio pottery to global attention and gave birth to what we now call Delhi Blue Pottery. A pioneer of modern Indian pottery, Gurcharan Singh studied ceramics in Japan and Europe before returning to India with a dream—to elevate pottery from a village craft to a respected art form. In 1952, he founded Delhi Blue Art Pottery. 

Delhi Blue Pottery is known for its smooth finish, graceful shapes, and signature cobalt-blue glaze.
